Who we are

As you are here, you know that our website address is . However, even will take you to the same site.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We use cookies to optimize your Dressed by Charles experience. As an example, we may use these to personalize the style advise to fit your expectations.

When you register a profile on our homepage, we ask you to provide us, not only your name, but also with some more intimate details e.g. shoe and shirt size and whether you like slim or loose fits.

We don’t do this just for the fun of it. Clothes are unfortunately not cut identically in every brand. Meaning, a medium in one brand can be a small or large in another. We want to give you the best styling advise possible, that includes cuts and sizes. If you tell us your size and preference, we have a much bigger chance of making sure you feel comfortable in what you wear.

There is also another positive effect to this. It reduces the number of returns and deliveries, which makes our service kinder to our planet.

We have a 3rd party provider, Angry Creative AB located in Norrköping and Stockholm, Sweden. They support us in facilitating digital transformation and business development. They protect your interests through excellent knowledge and smart standardization of WordPress and WooCommerce that are the hosts for this website.

We accept payments through PayPal, Twint and Credit Card. Information necessary to process the payment, e.g. purchase total and billing information, is passed on to these providers.

We treat your personal information strictly confidential. You have the right to access, modify, rectify and remove personal data concerning yourself. If you wish to exercise this right, please send us an e-mail.

Technicalities around comments, cookies and login

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Your login will persist for two weeks, if you select “Remember Me”. The login cookies will be removed, once you log out of your account.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on our site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles etc.) from other websites. Such embedded content behaves as if you would have visited the other website directly. Meaning, these websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. Which, as you may understand, is out of our control.
